"Battambang"

The countryside of rice fields and tiny villages surrounding the northwest city of Battambang holds some of the most tranquil rural scenery in Cambodia, and the area is home to swags of historic riches as well. All this has made the city itself a popular destination on traveler itineraries. For history fans, the temples of Phnom Sampeau, Phnom Banan, and Wat Ek Phnom are all within day-tripping distance, while the famed Bamboo - a single-line rail track where "carriages" made from a platform of wood and bamboo travel between Battambang's east bank and the tiny village of O Srav - is one of the most popular activities for visitors.

They also run half-day Cambodian cooking courses – great if you also wish to add some knowledge of local flavours to your journey of discovery in Cambodia.

2. Mi Keav 3 Lveng

3. Koch Chea Cantonese Noodle
The soft thin and tender rice noodles are stir-fried with savory condiments. What makes it more special is the crunchy noodles that were arranged below the stir-fried noodles. Crunchy at the bottom and juicy from the top, this taste will never erase from your memories.

4. Mi Kola 2 Tnu
Originated in Battambang, Mi Kola can only be found in this province. However, we got quite different opinions on this food. There are people who like it and there are people who don’t like it. We can’t say that it’s everyone’s favorite, but you can at least try it out when you get there.
